Community Services

For the most vulnerable residents in our housing or for those in the wider community, we provide support needed for long-term stability in housing.

We offer:

  • Resident services for low-income families and individuals in our affordable housing properties.
  • Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) for families and individuals who transitioned from long-term homelessness and have multiple disabling conditions. On-site staff offer supportive services and connection to resources for PSH households.
  • Food Pantries in 8 of our affordable housing communities.
  • Family Services for low-income families, mostly refugee and immigrant parents with infants or toddlers, including help navigating to services, applying for housing, and help with baby supplies, diapers and clothes.
  • Other emerging needs: like health outreach and health clinics with our Healthy Housing Initiative partner Providence Health Systems.

Resident Services

Catholic Charities of Oregon helps residents maintain their housing and thrive as members of our community.

Food Pantries

As hunger and poverty in Oregon continue to rise, we maintain a pantry at our main offices and at our various housing sites so nourishment is never far away. Those who have food are in a better position to change their lives.

Family Services

Supporting families has been a priority for Catholic Charities since our founding. In partnership with our clients, we provide an array of counseling and parental supportive services, case management, and support for those who have experienced trauma.
