Cup & Cone’s Project (N)icecream brought frozen joy and community connection to women in Catholic Charities’ Housing Transitions Program.

This month, Cup & Cone partnered with Catholic Charities through their Project (N)icecream initiative, and our community was treated to a sweet surprise!
Cup & Cone owners Parth and Allison, along with their family and business team, believe in spreading kindness through ice cream. Each month, they support a local organization by raising awareness and sharing frozen joy. Catholic Charities is honored to be their featured nonprofit for September.
Cup and Cone hosted an ice cream social for participants in our Housings Transitions Program. Women gathered for a hot lunch and a cold treat — tastings of new flavors, waffle cones and even prepackaged cups to enjoy then and take for later.
The event was more than just ice cream. It was laughter, conversation and a change for women facing the challenges of homelessness to enjoy a simple delight. We are grateful to Cup & Cone for their generosity and for lifting up our mission to serve the most vulnerable in our community.
