Vancouver Clinic Heart to Heart Fund

The Heart to Heart Fund is available to Vancouver Clinic employees with at least one year of employment who are facing a financial emergency. The fund is administered by Save First Financial and is funded entirely by Vancouver Clinic. The program combines financial assistance with financial education, empowering each participant to succeed.

Vancouver Clinic employees who qualify for financial help from the fund will be asked to participate in a free financial wellness class as part of the requirement to receiving assistance. Those that attend the financial wellness class will be offered the opportunity to participate in Save First’s financial coaching program.  In this program you will be matched with a Financial Coach who will work with you individually to meet your financial goals. This is free of charge to you and is paid for by your employer as part of your employee benefit program.

Eligibility requirements include the following:

  • Be a Vancouver Clinic employee for at least one year.
  • Face sudden loss of income due to serious illness, death, disaster to home (fire, flood, etc.), emergency housing issue (change in living arrangements, eviction, etc.), unpaid child support, etc.
  • Face family crisis due to traumatic incident, prolonged illness, separation and/or divorce, loss of job, etc.
