Immigration Legal Services
Catholic Charities Immigration Legal Services (CCILS) provides high quality immigration legal services to low income immigrants and refugees, and engages in public education, training and community outreach in order to promote justice for all newcomers and conditions for their full participation in American society.
Founded in 1996, CCILS focuses on family reunification and assistance to the most vulnerable immigrants, including domestic violence victims, crime victims, refugees, and certain persons needing deportation and removal defense.
The Services We Provide Include:
- Family visas
- Naturalization
- Asylum
- Removal defense through immigration and federal courts
- Assistance to survivors of domestic violence
- Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
- Visas for crime victims
- Assistance to survivors of human trafficking
- Other types of assistance

Already a client?
If you are already a client, you may come to our Portland office without an appointment ($30 consultation fee) during the following hours:
Tuesdays: 1:00 -- 4:00 p.m. and
Thursdays: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Although headquartered in Portland, CCILS conducts work in Eastern Oregon and in Southern Oregon. The staff speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese (Medford) and Mandarin Chinese (Portland). The two offices where we provide legal assistance are:
