El Program Hispano - Emergency Services
El Programa Hispano offers a wide variety of emergency services for low income Latino families, including:
Outreach to Elderly Latinos: Connecting the elderly with social services and a weekly lunch to socialize and develop connections with community providers.
Skill Building: Classes in English as Second Language (ESL), Citizenship, Driver’s Education, Spanish Literacy, financial literacy, basic computers skills, job-related trainings, workshops for job seekers and a weekly job list in Spanish.
Anti-poverty Services: Information and referral to social services, crisis and short-term intervention, translation, interpretation, and other services as part of our drop-in center in Gresham.
Case Management: Assistance to clients who need housing, utilities and other basic needs.
